Step 2: Find and Select Product(s) to Promote

Step 3: Create a Customized HopLink

Once you have chosen a product, communicated with the ClickBank Seller, and are cleared to start promoting the product, you will need to create a customized HopLink. A customized HopLink is a referral tracking URL that informs ClickBank that you are the affiliate that instigated the purchase through promotion. This is how your commission is tracked. Step 4: Promote the Product

Affiliates are free to promote products in whatever ways they find most effective. Content works for some, email marketing works for others. Make sure your customized HopLink is used in all promotional content or you will not receive commission for any sales generated by that HopLink. 

Step 5: Drive Sales

If your promotional methods are successful, customers will purchase the product from your link. Before of the customized HopLink, ClickBank will be able to track that your link is the link the customer clicked on the make the purchase.

Step 6: Earn Commission

ClickBank offers sellers two different ways to pay commission to affiliates: revenue share (commonly referred to as revshare) and CPA (which stands for “cost per action”).
